Ukraine is gone, and fault is 100% with the US & NATO

It might all have been avoided. Instead, Ukraine is in ruins, its population scattered, the peace of Europe shattered, and global security and economy on the brink. But make no mistake, the fault lies 100 per cent on the doorstep of the US and NATO. A blind man could have seen this coming a mile away, and yet the governments of the West leapt head-first into foolish actions with no thought for the consequences.

Here’s the list of events that led directly to the destruction of Ukraine:

• In March 1999, NATO prosecuted an illegal war on Serbia, and for 78 days bombarded that country in the most savage bombing campaign since WW2. Bill Clinton and Tony Blair committed war crimes on the pretext of humanitarian intervention, even as the CIA and NATO trained, armed and incited the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) in destabilising the Balkans. And when they were done, the Clintons got their statue in Pristina and the Pentagon got one of its biggest military bases in Europe. Everyone’s a winner, eh? The war set a dangerous precedent, and is often quoted by Russia as a pretext for its intervention in the Donbass. What goes for them surely goes for us too? Russia may well have launched an illegal war, but the US and NATO wrote the playbook.
